Unterer Sattelkopf is 2091 meter high peak and is part of the Samnaun Alps. The peak is located 1.9 km south-southeast of peak Zwölferkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Kölner Haus, located 2km southwest. A little further is Landecker Skihütte. The peak is located west-northwest of the valley Oberinntal.
