Description:
Monte Lanaro / Volnik is 544 meter high peak with a registration box. The peak to which the marked trail leads is located in country Italy 3 km north-northwest from the center of Repen and 3 km north-northeast from the center of Rupinpiccolo / Repnič. The nearest mountain hut is Koča Preserje, located 13km north. Closer is bivouac Monte Lanaro, located to the west in the immediate vicinity of the peak. South of the summit is the valley Val di Longera. The peak is located above Kras.
