Moosbergriedel is 1788 meter high peak and is part of the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 4 km north-northwest from the center of Rußbachsaag and 5 km north-northwest from the center of Rußbach am Paß Gschütt. The nearest mountain hut is Rettenegghütte, located 2km north-northeast. A bit closer is Moosbergalm, which is located 1.5km to the northwest. The peak is located south of the valley Klausbach.
