Description:
Schmalztrager is 1889 meter high peak in the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 1.2 km west-northwest of peak Gamsfeld. The nearest mountain hut is Rettenegghütte, located 2km north-northwest. A little further is Moosbergalm. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Rettenbachtal.
