Moralpenkogel is 1078 meter high peak and is part of the Upper Austrian Prealps. The peak is located 2 km southwest of peak Hohe Dirn. The nearest mountain hut is Anton-Schosser-Hütte, located 3km northeast. A little further is bivouac Breitenfurt. The peak is located west of the valley Neustiftgraben.
