Description:
Schwarzkogel is 1075 meter high peak and is part of the Upper Austrian Prealps. The peak is located 2.0 km east of peak Hohe Dirn. The nearest mountain hut is Anton-Schosser-Hütte, located 1.3km west-southwest. And bivouac Losenstein Friedhof is also close by. The peak is located west-northwest of the valley Neustiftgraben.
