Muschenkarschneid is 2990 meter high peak and is part of the Stubai Alps. The peak is located 2 km north-northwest of peak Kuhscheibe. The nearest mountain hut is Amberger Hütte, located 2km east-northeast. A little further is bivouac Notbiwak. 3 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Kuhscheibenferner, 3 km south from the summit there is also glacier Atterkarferner.
