Description:
Noten is 1640 meter high peak in the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located 7 km south from the center of Lunz am See and 7 km east from the center of Göstling an der Ybbs. The nearest mountain hut is Ybbstaler Hütte, located 1.5km north. Jagdhütte Gamseck is also relatively close. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Im Tiefen Grund.
