Description:
Planwipfel is 1227 meter high peak and is part of the mountain group Totes Gebirge. The peak is located 1.5 km northeast from the center of Bad Mitterndorf and 4 km east from the center of Obersdorf. The nearest mountain hut is Hollhaus (Theodor-Karl-), located 5km northeast. A bit closer is Ehemaliger Poserlift - Bergstation, which is located 1.0km to the south-southeast. The peak is located east-southeast of the valley Koppental.
