Großer Koppenkarstein is 2865 meters high mountain in the mountain group Dachstein. It's situated above the glacier Schladminger Gletscher. From the top that has a cross is a nice view towards the peaks above the mentioned glacier. On the summit of the mountain is also solar power plant and smaller building owned by army.
