Platteneck

Description:
Platteneck is 1618 meter high peak in the Bavarian Prealps. The peak is located 7 km north from the center of Achenkirch and 11 km northwest from the center of Steinberg am Rofan. The nearest mountain hut is Jausenstation Blaubergalm, located 1.8km east-southeast. A little closer is Platten-Alm, which is located 0.9km to the west-southwest. The peak is located northeast of the valley Achental.
