Description:
Rainkogel is 842 meter high peak in the Gurktal Alps. The peak is located 1.1 km north-northwest of peak Magdalensberg. The nearest mountain hut is Druckerhütte, located 18km northeast. A bit closer is bivouac Haltestelle Liebenfels, which is located 10km to the west. 6 km north of the peak there is lake Längsee. East of the summit is the valley Görtschitztal.
