Description:
Rannkogel is 1574 meter high peak in the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 3 km east of peak Gamsfeld. The nearest mountain hut is Goiserer Hütte, located 4km east. A bit closer is Hohe Knallalm, which is located 1.2km to the north-northeast. Northeast of the summit is the valley Rettenbachtal.
