Reiningspitz is 1460 meter high peakon which a cross stands and is part of the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 1.1 km south-southwest of peak Schafberg. The nearest mountain hut is Kienbergerhütte, located 3km northeast. A bit closer is Naturfreundehütte, which is located 0.8km to the west. 7 km north-northwest of the peak there is lake Mondsee.
