Description:
Rippetegg is 2126 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 6 km southeast from the center of Forstau and 7 km south-southeast from the center of Mandling and 0.7 km southwest of peak Schober and west-southwest above the mountain pasture Schoberalm. The nearest mountain hut is Eiskarhütte, located 3km north. A little further is bivouac Preunegg Abzw Preuneggtal. The peak is located above the valley Preunegg.
