Schober

Description:
Schober is 2133 meter high peakon which a cross stands located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 6 km southeast from the center of Forstau and 7 km south-southeast from the center of Mandling. The nearest mountain hut is Eiskarhütte, located 2km north-northwest. A little further is Pichlmayralm. The peak is located severowest above the mountain pasture Schoberalm. The peak is located above the valley Preunegg. The peak is located above the valley Preunegg and severowest above the mountain pasture Schoberalm.
