The peak is located 5 km west-northwest from the center of Barbian - Barbiano and 6 km west-northwest from the center of Kollmann - Colma. At the top there is also mountain hut Rittner Horn Haus - Rifugio Corno del Renon. And bivouac Bivak Sarner Scharte - Bivacco Forcella is also close by. The peak is located southeast of the valley Tanzbachtal.
