Rote Wand is 2704 meter high peak and is part of the Lechquellen Mountains. The peak is located 6 km west-southwest from the center of Unteres Älpele and 7 km north from the center of Dalaas. The nearest mountain hut is Obere Laguzalpe, located 1.9km west. Unterhudlaalpe is a bit further away. East-northeast from the summit there is glacier Rote Wand Gletscher.
