Sass de la Stria is 2935 meter high peak and is part of the Natural Park Adamello-Brenta. The peak is located 1.7 km northeast of peak Carè Alto. The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Carè Alto, located 1.9km southeast. And bivouac Malga Niscli is also close by. 3 km north of the peak there is lake Lago di Lares.
