Description:
Schmiedberg is 790 meter high peak and is part of the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located 0.4 km west-southwest from the center of St. Leonhard am Wald and 1.7 km north-northeast from the center of Sankt Aegidi. The nearest mountain hut is Prochenberghütte, located 8km south-southeast. A bit closer is rekonstruierte Schleife, which is located 7km to the south-southeast. The peak is located north-northwest of the valley Prolling.
