Description:
Schober is 953 meter high peak and is part of the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located 4 km south from the center of Göstling an der Ybbs and 4 km northeast from the center of Lassing. The nearest mountain hut is Schwarzalmhütte, located 4km southeast. Closer is bivouac Lassing Kotleiten, which is located 2km to the southwest. The peak is located south of the valley Kothbergtal.
