Description:
Sonnstein is 987 meter high peak in the Ybbstal Alps. The peak is located 4 km southeast from the center of Göstling an der Ybbs and 7 km south-southeast from the center of Kogelsbach. The nearest mountain hut is Schwarzalmhütte, located 4km south-southwest. Closer is Schornialm, which is located 3km to the northwest. North-northwest of the summit is the valley Kothbergtal.
