Description:
Schwarzer großer Gipfel is 695 meter high peak and is part of the Gurktal Alps. The peak is located 1.4 km northeast from the center of Köttmannsdorf and 1.5 km north-northeast from the center of Sankt Gandolf. The nearest mountain hut is Koča na Ljubelju, located 15km south. A bit closer is bivouac Pavillon, which is located 7km to the northeast. The peak is located in the valley Rosental.
