Šija is 1241 meter high peak. The peak is located 4 km north-northeast of peak Veliki Planik. The nearest mountain hut is Planinski dom Lisina, located 3km east-southeast. bivouac Babino sklonište is a bit further away. North-northeast of the summit is the valley Mrzla dolina.
