Skala is 792 meter high peak. The peak is located 3 km west from the center of Podstenice and 4 km east-northeast from the center of Pugled pri Starem Logu. The nearest mountain hut is Dom Frata, located 13km north-northeast. A bit closer is hunting cottage Logarnica. Lovska koča, which is located 1.3km to the south. West of the summit is the valley Ribniška dolina. The peak is located Kočevski rog.
