Jazbec is 736 meter high peak. The peak is located 1.9 km northeast from the center of Pugled pri Starem Logu and 3 km northeast from the center of Cesta. The nearest mountain hut is Koča pri Jelenovem studencu, located 14km southwest. A bit closer is hunting cottage Logarnica. Lovska koča, which is located 2km to the east-southeast. West of the summit is the valley Ribniška dolina. The peak is located Kočevski rog.
