The peak is located 1.7 km east-southeast of peak Munt de Fora - Maurerkopf and zahodno-jugozahodno above the mountain pasture Käseralm. The nearest mountain hut is Centro Studi montani - Winter dormitory, located 5km south-southeast. A little further is Malga Rossalm. North of the summit is the valley Pustertal - Val Pusteria.
