Steinitzen is 2151 meter high peak located in the Lower Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.8 km east-northeast of peak Marislwand and east-jugoeast above the mountain pasture Marislalm. The nearest mountain hut is Bartlhütte, located 4km west-northwest. Gspandalm is a bit further away. The peak is located north of the valley Pöllatal.
