Stoamandl is 2324 meter high peak and is part of the Sesvenna Alps. The peak is located 0.5 km east of peak Tellakopf - CIma di Tella. The nearest mountain hut is Sesvenna-Hütte - Rifugio Sesvenna, located 7km north-northwest. Closer is Pegelstation Rambach- Stazione idrometica rio Ram, which is located 5km to the east. 6 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Vadret da Sesvenna. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Val Müstair.
