Description:
Strumberg is 981 meter high peak and is part of the Salzkammergut Mountains. The peak is located 1.1 km east-northeast from the center of Hinterebenau and 1.7 km south from the center of Vorderschroffenau. The nearest mountain hut is Latschenalm Krispl-Gaißau, located 7km south-southeast. A bit closer is Jagdhütte, which is located 4km to the southwest. 7 km east-northeast of the peak there is lake Fuschlsee. The peak is located west of the valley Klausbach.
