Description:
Tamar is 806 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located 0.8 km northwest from the center of Podbrdo and 3 km east from the center of Stržišče and 1.9 km south of peak Kobla. The nearest mountain hut is Dom Zorka Jelinčiča, located 3km west-northwest. A little further is bivouac Ovčarski stan. The peak is located above the valley Baška grapa.
