Tarschberg is 816 meter high peak in the Türnitz Alps. The peak is located 1.7 km south-southeast from the center of Eschenau and 2 km northwest from the center of Marktl. The nearest mountain hut is Kaiserkogelhütte, located 4km northwest. Closer is bivouac Marktl Ort, which is located 2km to the southeast. South-southeast of the summit is the valley Hölltal.
