Tavamunter Augstenberg is 2489 meter high peakon which a cross stands in the Verwall Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 3 km northeast from the center of Innertafamunt and 3 km east-northeast from the center of Außertafamunt and 2 km southwest of peak Verbellakopf. The nearest mountain hut is Alpe Gibau, located 1.8km west-northwest. A little further is bivouac Unterstand Klettergarten Rifa. The peak is located northeast of the valley Montafon.
