The peak is located 5 km north-northeast from the center of Außertafamunt and 6 km north from the center of Innertafamunt. The nearest mountain hut is Alpe Gibau, located 3km south. A little further is bivouac Unterstand Klettergarten Rifa. The peak is located northeast of the valley Montafon.
