Valuta is 1617 meter high peak located in the Carnic Alps mountain range. The peak is located 3 km south from the center of Ligosullo and 3 km south from the center of Murzalis. The nearest mountain hut is Casera Valmedan Alta, located 1.5km south-southwest. A little closer is bivouac Ricovero Casera Valuta, which is located 0.2km to the south-southeast. West-northwest of the summit is the valley Valle del But.
