Velika Boncla is 1241 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located in country Slovenia 3 km south-southwest of peak Bärentaler Kotschna / Veliki vrh. The nearest mountain hut is Dom Pristava v Javorniškem Rovtu, located 1.6km west-northwest. Even closer is Hrašenska planina, which is located 1.2km to the east-northeast. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Bodental.
