Description:
Veliki vrh / Monte Grande is 1446 meter high peak located in the Julian Alps mountain range. The peak is located 3 km north-northeast from the center of Barza / Barca and 3 km north from the center of Stermizza / Starmica and 0.8 km east-northeast of peak Matajur and zahodno-jugozahodno above the mountain pasture Svinska planina near the border with Italy. The nearest mountain hut is Dom na Matajure, located 1.3km west-southwest. And Avsa 22 is also close by. Northeast of the summit is the valley Dolina Lepene.
