Vitushöhe

Description:
Vitushöhe is 690 meter high peak located in the Karawanks mountain range. The peak is located 0.7 km west-northwest from the center of Sankt Veit im Jauntal/Šentvid v Podjuni and 3 km south-southwest from the center of Stein im Jauntal. The nearest mountain hut is Eisenkappler Hütte / Kapelska koča, located 9km south. A bit closer is bivouac Vogelbeobachtungshütte, which is located 6km to the east. 3 km east of the peak there is lake Turnersee. West-southwest of the summit is the valley Rosental.
