Schreibachfall is a waterfall at an altitude of 728 meters and is part of the Upper Austrian Prealps. The waterfall is located 4 km southwest from the center of Ternberg and 5 km east-northeast from the center of Sonnseite. The nearest peak is Schoberstein, which is located 0.9km južnoThe nearest mountain hut is Schobersteinhaus, located 1.0km south. Josef Krennerhütte is also relatively close. The waterfall is located west of the valley Neustiftgraben.
