Description:
Brandkogel is 825 meter high peak and is part of the Upper Austrian Prealps. The peak is located 4 km northeast of peak Hochbuchberg. The nearest mountain hut is Brettmaisalm, located 4km west-southwest. A bit closer is Josef Krennerhütte, which is located 0.7km to the south-southwest. East-southeast of the summit is the valley Neustiftgraben.
