Access to starting point:
a) We drive to Velike Lašče, then follow the signs for Nova vas na Blokah. On the road towards Nova vas we drive to the intersection, where the signs for Lužarji, Mačkovec and Rute direct us right onto the local road. Immediately after the intersection we park at a suitable place by the road.
b) We drive to Nova vas na Blokah, then follow the signs for Velike Lašče. On the road towards Velike Lašče we drive to the intersection, where the signs for Lužarji, Mačkovec and Rute direct us left onto the local road. Immediately after the intersection we park at a suitable place by the road.
Route description:
From the starting point past the pond we continue to the village of Lužarji, where the path leads us past houses and a chapel. This is followed by a slight descent, then, when we start ascending again, we reach an intersection, where we go right (straight ahead continues the European walking trail E6) towards the nearby church, which we see above the road, and we quickly ascend to it via a side asphalt road.
