they are not stupid questions. We have quite some experience in the mountains already. On Peč, Raduha, Grintovec etc. one can hardly trip anywhere, so we were just curious how it is with Mangart.

I read that thread already before my question. It's about an 8-year-old who likes to trip while walking. So I was interested if he can trip somewhere down.

I'm wondering if the Italian path is exposed or precipitous anywhere? We would go with small children.

Everyone has the right to endanger themselves (don't understand why anyone would care?). If you play that card that you can't endanger yourself, then you can ban almost all human activities.

I did the trail without problems, really not difficult.

The ladders aren't the problem (I go on those without issue), the problem is only if there's a really deep precipitous (!) view straight down. That's why I was just wondering if there's any particularly exposed spot on this trail.

I'm wondering if this climbing path is exposed? No issues with climbing, but I have a fear of heights.
