Probably they'll attack me again but I can't help it - on that day, meaning the day of your ascent, we had presentations of various activities as part of the Pokljuka Marathon. The weather was what it was, the BCA thermometer from the snowpack test kit showed -15.2 degrees at the shooting range at 12pm. We couldn't measure the wind unfortunately, but it was quite strong, according to the automatic station gusts up to 50 km/h. All together it makes windchill around -30 degrees at 1300 m.a.s.l.
If someone thinks it's smart to take an 11-year-old child in such conditions to Viševnik, where the temperature was even lower, then I'm not smart enough anymore.
P.S. one more thing - I intended to do a snow profile up to Zlate Vode and submit a report to ARSO, but somehow I changed my mind and didn't go up. So - use common sense in your endeavors. The mountains will wait for you.
Best, G
