In my post I just wrote how we locals call these places and no map can change that. I heard this from people who actually knew every stone there when they herded sheep and sometimes stole something. Among other things even Lepo Špičje were always just Ščanevce for locals. What is more correct, the name used by locals or a name someone made up when passing by is another story. In no way is it my intention to polemicize with anyone, just to add some info that most probably don't know. Best regards

Igor is certainly one of the best experts of Julijske Alpe, but I note that he still doesn't know where Plezjanske Loupe are. They are exactly where Raubšic wrote, the place where he was on the second tour are Loupe. I'd also correct viharnik a bit, the place where a lake forms during heavy rain that sinks in 2-3 days is not Zajezero but Jezera while Polog is not along the path to Plaze through Krbuljnik, but along the path from Skala to Plaze, either on the path that turns right uphill a bit before the ramp or on the forest road. But I'd advise against the tour that Igor did under Loupe in March and April under normal snow conditions in the afternoon, as frequent spontaneous avalanche releases occur, especially problematic are Loupe because they have no pronounced gullies through which avalanches go.
