The old buildings we meet at the parking lot or in the Cave del Mole area are from the period between the two world wars. They also built the above-mentioned road.
They were built as part of the so-called Alpine Wall, which the Italians built in the Alps area for their own defense.
Similar ''settlement'' buildings we can meet also elsewhere on Italian border areas. Such an example is also at the Zagrada / Pascole area, namely if we go from Bela Peč (Fusine Laghi) by road towards Three Borders or Kopi.
