Although path 649 was renovated this year, there is a fresh landslide on the ferrata below Pipar summit which tore new cables in the gully. The passage is annoying, not so much due to difficulty but instability which current inversion further amplifies (freezing/melting) and huge rocks around which one must pass do not inspire confidence. Winter will probably add something, but I hope our western colleagues will manage to fix it in spring.
From Pipar direction the path closure is clearly visible, from Poldanjšna špica direction not. The sign about path closure lies far off in grass and one doesn't know what it's about.
For now I advise against this part of the traverse.

Current path condition with quite a few damaged safety gear and a landslide before the ridge entry just waiting to "go" to the valley maybe calls for temporary closure. It won't trouble those skilled in scree and classic via ferratas, but I advise against it for those expecting a shiny steel cable from the junction to Stanič. This path was never easy; currently, it is necessary to avoid pulling on pegs, pitons, and cables several times.

Tour for romantics of scree scrambling nasmeh. Been up there twice. First time orientation interesting down in grasses before exiting to cirque foot. Second time when you know it's much easier. Silence there so absolute you hear it.

Somehow I feel a moral responsibility, that if I use some website I should give something small back to it.
I repeated this traverse with friends last Saturday in July, specifically 10 years after the first traverse where we missed the exit the same way as the author of this post Juš.

This time we started on the ledge and upon exiting it I realized why we wandered aimlessly for 2 hours back then. You just have to go down to the very edge of the wall and look right at the larches. Now that I know it's simple.nasmeh
Otherwise the impression is that this part of PP is hiked extremely rarely, the path to the saddle under P. Mlinarica is much more overgrown than years ago. Obviously it's more and more scrambling for romantics who don't mind thrashing through brush and searching for passages. But I noticed that from the top of P. Mlinarica a path leads in the direction of Vrata, which wasn't there years ago. I don't know if I assessed the direction correctly, otherwise let someone correct me.

Beautiful tour, just hell if it's one degree too much.

I'm posting for the first time and it's worth praising the accurate description of the passage above Naklo. Maybe it's worth remembering that behind the tree on the narrow ledge right out to the rock edge and then under the larch as nicely visible on photo 34. We went past the dry tree to the ridge, where it's also passable.
Nowhere in any description did I notice anyone mentioning two paths that lead to the hut at Izgora. At approx. 700 m.a.s.l. one path turns right, the other straight on the right side of the stone scree. Both paths are nice and join just below the hut. The left one (looking uphill) is somewhat steeper and offers more views.
