If anyone still doubted: the ridge is completely dry. From hut back to Kot there are still some mostly (not for dandies, hard early) non-problematic snow patches.

A couple of pegs pulled out in lower part, but don't know if new info, nor obstacle.

Current path condition with quite a few damaged safety gear and a landslide before the ridge entry just waiting to "go" to the valley maybe calls for temporary closure. It won't trouble those skilled in scree and classic via ferratas, but I advise against it for those expecting a shiny steel cable from the junction to Stanič. This path was never easy; currently, it is necessary to avoid pulling on pegs, pitons, and cables several times.

Hi, hiked the path 26.7. Seemed ok to me. Some pulled peg, no serious issue. Proper safety at all harder spots. Cables reliable, taut. Of course many uninsured sections, scree, so path requires experienced hiker with sure step. I liked it a lot.

Vrbanove Spires and Begunjski vrh, 31.8.2025

Today was a beautiful day in the mountains. After the front the air is clean and views were phenomenal. Warmer than forecasted, plus no breath of wind. Ideal temperature.cool

Trail without features. Fixed protections BP everywhere you need them. Lots of completely new cables. Enjoyment. Took hiking poles but didn't use them.

I'm mainly glad I finally did a bit more substantial tour after sprain, finally in summer shoes (without "support" of stiff boots) and descended without bracevelik nasmeh. We know how it goes, you appreciate something more only when you don't have itzavijanje z očmi. Quite a few visitors today and think everyone overtook us velik nasmeh... No way, shows in climbing fitness that we hiked less this summer season. No problem, we'll catch up nasmeh

At Stanič Hut a can of warm (!) Union 7 €, kitchen starts only from 13:00…(?!)

Anyway, leave it. Only bad thing today wet ground below forest line. Last time on this trail 3 years ago and remember upper descent enjoyment, lower remained in memory as demanding. Today last third of descent in Kot extremely nasty. Don't know if I remember such tedious descent. Wet, smooth and greasy rocks spiced with mud over precipices above rock barrier/scree of Kot – plenty of them as we know. In such conditions trail extremely dangerous!!! Despite protections on all most critical spots. This descent 5x more demanding than anything up on Spires…
