For the path from Bistrica ob Sotli to the Holy Mountains you have to count on a good 45 minutes. It's a fairly steep path, also called Verikala.

From the tourist farm Žurej there is a nice but demanding path to the summit. At the Žusem summit it is really pleasant - tower, log hut and nice views. But don't go back on the panoramic path as it crosses private land. The guard dog is loud but friendly. Hard to say the same for the owner.
