Mojči's hut on Vitranc is due to ski slope construction open until further notice on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays between 9.00 and 17.00.
The path on the ski slope from Bedanec's hut to Vitranc is closed on weekdays from Monday to Friday until 14.00 due to possible falling rocks.
Path from Jasna is always normally passable without restrictions.

Mojči's hut on Vitranc is open until Monday, after that in May on Saturdays and Sundays. Paths to Vitranc are mostly dry.

Mojči's hut on Vitranc is open from Thu 24.3. to Sun 27.3. Hosting Ciprnik visitors who will watch Planica flights from bird's eye view. All paths well trodden, not much snow left. Path from Jasna almost bare. Most visitors come without special gear, still advise small crampons.

Currently the large parking lot behind the police station at the ski resort is also free.

With summer in Planica, Mojči's hut on Vitranc opens its doors. We will be open every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00. In case of bad weather we will be closed, we will start with "take away" system
Path over ski slope and under old chairlift is well trodden, tracks from Jasna too. To Ciprnik top 12-point crampons and ice axe needed (last 100m)

On Vitranc there's a good meter of snow. The track is made from Lake Jasna and across the ski slope under the old Vitranc2 lift. It's well packed, snow doesn't sink, currently no sliding, no crampons needed. On the ski slope they put up signs prohibiting ski tourers' passage when not operating (till 9am and after 4pm). Allowed from 9am to 4pm. Track visible to Ciprnik too.

Further towards Ciprnik more snow. Last weekend guided group of hikers climbed Ciprnik without gear. Snow is so trampled ascent no problem. Since then not much more snow fallen than on Vitranc so assume melted on Ciprnik too.

From Jasna it is currently dry up to 10 min before the hut. Very likely tomorrow dry to the hut. Since Sunday the snow line has been around 1350m, only on Wednesday it dropped lower.

Mojčin's hut on Vitranc will be open from 1.-5.5.2019. On the first of May goulash from the cauldron will be cooked. Before Sunday snowfall paths to the hut were dry. We expect the May sun will quickly melt dozens of cm of new snow.
Conditions for Ciprnik will be wintery, but very suitable goal considering high mountain dangers.

Mojči's Hut on Vitranc will be open from Friday 22.3. to Sunday 24.3.2019. To the ski jump spectators returning from Ciprnik we will offer goulash from the cauldron.

Since snow melts during the day and freezes at night, small crampons are needed. From Mojca's hut to Ciprnik there is quite more snow and drier snow.

Mojčin's hut on Vitranc is looking during summer season from late June to early September for a caretaker or caretaker couple. Hut open from 9.00 to 17.00 and offers various drinks and snacks.

Several hikers reached Ciprnik today. Despite snow on some parts of the path the summit is reachable. The path from Lake Jasna is impassable due to water flowing over the dam at Lake Jasna. It is necessary to choose marked path no. 20 which starts along Vršiška road between Lake Jasna and Hotel Lek.
