Today from Mojstrana through Vrata Valley. Past the galleries to Aljaž Hut, monument, a bit further towards Luknja and back by road. A good three hours of pleasant hiking one way. To finish, a visit to the Alpine Museum. A bit more snow from Aljaž Hut onwards, but nothing dramatic

On Kamnek today there is no sun, no real views, no snow, but whole carpets of crocuses and because of that it was worth climbing to this lower peak above Tržič. In the pictures some floral touch

I too had the honor years ago to observe a whole herd of chamois crossing Prevalski stog. Such encounters really fill your soul and stay in memory

It was in 1977. I'd outgrown my first pumparice, didn't have swishy tracksuit bottoms, first jeans were already there too... yeah, hard to imagine someone in jeans at the summit today.. still vividly remember the feelings at the top, nice to turn time back...
